Home: Eleven Cute Ways To Bring Pastels Into Your Home

I love the idea of using pastel shades when decorating.  I think it’s a great way to add a bit of interest when you’re going for that lovely light and airy feel that we all seem to be pinning like demons.

It’s probably a great way to start out with colour too, not too “in your face”.  A bit toned down?

Some of these ideas we’ve rounded up only require you to get a tiny bit brave with soft furnishings or a paint brush.  The results here are actually quite sophisticated.  (I really love those painted chairs!)  Maybe next time you’re out and about you could adjust your “for the home” radar to include a little bit of lilac, musk pink, powder blue or spearmint green.  Just like a kid in a candy store!
