Delta: I should have a feature called ‘Who Are They Cross At Now?!’ on this blog. Last week it was Kerri-Anne. And Lara Bingle. And now it’s Delta who apparently threatened to outshine The Voice winner Karise Eden, by wearing a very ugly dress. I am very glad that the Delta bashing may stop for a wee while and I don’t think Delta’s dress was ugly. She looked like a statue, granted, but she didn’t look ugly. Jeepers. More here. Shoosh up Delta bashers.
Mardi Gras: Sydney’s iconic Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade will be alcohol free from next year, with Sydney City Council approving a ban on booze along the parade route. They’re hoping to make Mardi Gras a safer, more family friendly event. Read on here.
Coconut Water: NPR is asking ‘Is The Coconut Water Craze All It’s Cracked Up To Be?’ Touted as an excellent source of potassium and sodium and a good way to replace electrolytes, NPR says (in summary) that coconut water is a good post-sport/work-out drink, but you’re probably better off with regular water. Despite all that coconut water sales doubled in 2011 and it’s not looking like slowing down. More here.
iTunes: The Age is reporting that hackers are selling iTunes account details online for as little as $30, resulting in fraudulent charges on consumers’ personal accounts and possible identity theft. Consumer Affairs Victoria has issued a fraud warning, and Apple is just telling affected iTunes users to change their passwords to protect their private information and contact their financial institution. Ugh. More here.
