Goon: Gosh. The humble box of wine has apparently gone upmarket, except I don’t think it’s very upmarket. Anyway, maybe I am not the target market for the ‘fancy’ Vernissage ‘handbag’ boxed wine. I’m not saying wine in a box is BAD. I’m more saying that wine in a box is just wine in a box. It is what it is. It doesn’t have to pretend to be all Sex and the City, now does it?  More here.

Jessica Simpson: I am guessing there will be an uproar about Jessica Simpson sharing a picture of her baby girl Maxwell in a crocheted bikini.  I remember seeing photos of myself in one aged about 2 years old. I think it’s a bit cute, personally. Read on here.

Guerilla Lending Libraries: OMG. How great is this?  John Locke is a spontaneous interventionist who can turn a phone booth into a guerilla library in about five minutes. How great.  Granted, he’s only founded four libraries so far, but the thing is this kind of idea has an exciting virality and motivates other people to join in and do the same (or create their own guerilla project). I totally want to tweak this somewhere in my neighbourhood. Maybe not a phone booth though. Lots of people STILL use phone booths in my street… maybe a tram stop bookshelf? Hmmm.  More here.
