With service jobs in high demand (and awarded to the best looking, most qualified applicants), graduates are forced to temporarily shelve their employment ideals in favour of packing, lifting and lugging for a living. Kids & Gambling: Smartphone apps are teaching kids the kind of behaviours that could turn them into problem gamblers, The Australian reports. Canadian researcher Jennifer Reynolds warns that apps which encourage kids to buy online credits are a bit of a slippery slope, a kind of gambling disguised as gaming. Read on here.
