Homeless Kids on Facebook: In the wake of Rich Kids on Instagram comes news from Good that at risk and homeless kids are using Facebook for less narcissistic pursuits, like finding somewhere to sleep, something to eat and staying in touch with people who matter to them. More here.
Madonna: It’s fine. All is well in the world of Madge and Elton. Madonna has forgiven him for the nasty things he said about her recently. Apparently she dedicated a song to him at a recent performance and noted that Sir Elton was a big Madonna fan. Hm. More here. Phew. What?
Cigarettes: The entire Tasmanian Upper House has unanimously supported a proposal to make it illegal for anyone born after the year 2000 to buy cigarettes once they turn 18. Amazing. Prince Harry: It really was him. OMG. Cavorting like a normal drunken lad. Scandal.
