Space Jumping: Wow. Overnight Felix Baumgartner has jumped from a pod which was idling on the edge of space.  The vision is absolutely amazing, as is the fact that he survived.  He hurtled 38km from space to the New Mexico desert landing area and was heard to be chatting on the way down. He surpassed the speed of sound as he fell to earth. Gizmodo covered it live.  Amazing!

Masterchef: Matt Moran announced yesterday that he’s hanging up his Masterchef apron, allowing more time for him to pursue his own TV cooking show and concentrate on his restaurants.  Apparently he hadn’t told the TEN Network of his plans at the time of announcing his news to the media, so one wonders if the relationship there is a healthy one. Russell Crowe & Danielle Spencer: The couple have announced that they have separated after nine years of marriage.  Danielle remains in Sydney with their two boys, while Crowe is in the US.  News.com.au reports that the split is amicable. I think this celebrity break-up thing is catching….
