Robin Gibb : The amazing BeeGee has awoken from his coma and spoken to family members at his bedside.  Sources say that Gibb’s children and brother Barry had spent time playing music and singing to him in an effort to speed his recovery. I’m not sure if it’s coincidental that he awoke, but I will now firmly believe that the Bee Gees have magnificent healing powers.  Stayin’ Alive indeed. (Sorry!) Read on at News.com.au.

Jim Stynes : Today would have been the amazing Jim Styne’s 46th birthday and it’s a timely reminder that we should think of  Jim often and remember (and support) all that he achieved. Two of my kids attended Jim’s Reach programs (as I did!) and we remember him as a kind, curious, funny dude.  Happy Birthday and RIP lovely man. Our thoughts are with Jim’s  family and friends, as always.

Peaches Geldof & Thomas Cohen : The daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates gave birth to a little boy Astala Dylan Willow Geldof-Cohen, possibly on Friday or Saturday. Whichever day it was, it’s pretty adorable news and we hope they are super happy together!  Look how much Peaches boyfriend looks like BOB GELDOF!
