uVent : Do you have a peeve? Is there a company that’s ticking you off? Join 11 000 (at last count) other ticked off types on uVent, a brand new website set up to publicise and resolve issues between consumers and the companies they deal with. uVent notifies (subscribed) companies who have complaints lodged against them, and will remove aforesaid peeves from their listings once they are resolved. Hm. It will be super interesting to see how efficiently uVent deals with the vents lodged on their site. And I’m not really sure how the authenticity of complaints is verified. That’s got me thinking. I think I am blushing. Sorry. Go to News for the rest of the story.

Science results for the students who play, study and fossick in the garden increase from 9% proficiency to 53% proficiency over a short few years. Not only that, but the kids who hang out in the garden show a passionate enthusiasm for the plants and the creatures who live within it. Read more at The LA Times.
