Ellen: Ellen Degeneres will be awarded the Mark Twain prize for American humour, the ABC reports.  She’ll be handed her prize in an October 22nd ceremony in Washington DC.  ”To get the same award that has been given to people like Bill Cosby, Tina Fey and Will Ferrell, it really makes me wonder … why didn’t I get this sooner?” Ellen quipped.  Find the full story at the ABC.

iPhone 5: In iPhone 5 rumours, Apple’s Asian screen supplier says that the new iPhone screen will be half an inch larger than its iPredecessors. It’s thought that Apple are upsizing to stay a step ahead of rival company Samsung. I’ve used an iPhone and a Samsung Galaxy and I must say I really love a larger screen.  Everything looks better and is easier to read. The upsize has got to be a good thing, methinks. The Wiggles: Maybe you haven’t heard, but in BIG skivvy news a lady will join The Wiggles when Jeff, Murray and Greg retire at the end of this year.  20 year old Emma Watkins must be pinching herself. She’s the lady in question and a Wiggle back up dancer too.  I am looking forward to seeing a gal in the line up and I think it’s a super cute move. What do you think? Read on here.
