Super excited about the new Muppets movie… I Love Ricky and Tina also, so it should be a hoot. I also whole heartedly agree with the author of that article about over parenting. I worry about how our kids are so wrapped up by a lot of parents. My husband and I are trying our darndest to foster some independance and let our kids know, life doesn’t always go their way… And that’s ok!

Argh! HOW great will the Muppets be?! So great! I TRY not to coddle my kids… but I think I sometimes DO… and I need to NOT do that! Thanks so much for reading Newsy Snacks, Emma! xx

I think we all do a little bit Pip, and better we coddle than ignore them altogether. It is really hard not to, I agree. You just want to stop anything bad happening to them, but like Dory says in Finding Nemo, ” if don’t let anything happen to him, it wouldn’t be much fun for little Harpo now would it?” ( I’m probably paraphrasing)…
Or maybe I should quote Animal instead… ” Eat drums eat drums…” LOL
