Twitter: The social media landscape is slowly changing, with the revelation that Twitter has blocked the account of a Neo-Nazi user on the request of the German police.  It’s the first time Twitter has blocked an account since announcing its blocking function in January.   Twitter spokesman Dirk Hensen said that the account @hannoverticker has been blocked only in Germany, where its content is considered illegal.  Read on here.

Sugar: News.com.au reports of kids’ foods which are packed with sugar. This is a bit crazy, right? I mean it shouldn’t be allowed. These products are marketed directly at kids, often under the guise of being healthy.  Names named include: kids’ yoghurts, rolled fruit snacks, cereal bars, puffed rice treats, cheese & cracker snacks, sweet nut spreads, savoury cracker snacks and fruit juices.  Read on here.

Sharks: A Victorian man who was filmed dragging a beached shark back into the ocean is either crazy or a hero, with footage of the 2-year-old save going totally viral on YouTube. The footage has over 2 million views and shows Shane Cox repeatedly trying to help the shark navigate the waves and make it out to sea.  His kids can be heard screaming excitedly in the background, and I am fairly sure the shark waves a fin as he goes!
