Farewell Fosters: The iconic Aussie beer brand is joining Vegemite, Speedo and Arnotts as a true blue brand gone global, being sold to an Anglo/South African multinational. Sad? You probably won’t be for long. Check out this interesting story from The Australian a few years back which indicates most consumers might be initially disappointed when an Aussie icon leaves our shores but it rarely affects our buying choices.

FACT OF THE DAY: 

The idea that redheads are “fiery” may have some truth to it. Certainly they’re harder to sedate than other people: a recent study from the University of Louisville determined redheads take 20 to 30 per cent more anaesthetic to be knocked out than those with other hair colours.
