Paternal Post-Natal Depression : In a further extension of the man flu, a new study has found that men are just as likely to develop post natal depression during their baby’s first year of life as women are. No. I shouldn’t be flippant. I guess that I really did think that the physical changes a woman’s body goes through would make her more susceptible.  But apparently that’s not the case. (My 12 year old son said it’s because WOMEN can handle stuff better than men and that outweighs the physical changes… Good theory?!) More here.

Apple : Our appsession is certainly paying off for Apple. They’ve reported a 94% surge in profits for this quarter. ”We’re thrilled with sales of over 35 million iPhones and almost 12 million iPads in the March quarter,” said Apple chief executive Tim Cook. That’s way more than an apple a day, obviously.  The ABC has the details here.

Drew Barrymore : Perhaps inspired by the Skinnygirl success of Bethenny Frankel (who sold a stake in her Skinnygirl cocktail product to Jim Beam for a reported $100 million) Drew Barrymore has just released her own wine.  It’s a crispy Pinot Grigio and apparently Drew does love a glass herself (which is a bit weird since she’s a bit of a teetotaller after growing up WAY too soon.) Anyhoo, if you want to guzzle like Gertie then look for the distinctive Barrymore label!

Matt Newton : No kung-fu today, as far as we know, but a possible jail term and civil law suit  is on the cards.
