Lamb, Barbie Girl Or Tom Cruise?

What happens when you bundle every Aussie cliche and icon (including borrowed-from-across-the-ditch Richard Wilkins) into three minutes of video? You get Sam Kekovich and Melissa Tkautz’s Pro Lamb Tune : Barbie Girl.

It might SEEM like an astro-turfed, sauce strewn, banana lounged catastrophe.  But it’s not.  It’s actually a tribute to Australia’s favourite meat.  Lamb.  Instead of dinner with Tom Cruise, we’re getting a chop with Sam Kekovich (who is totally channeling that other Australian un-icon, Sir Les Patterson in this clip, methinks. )

You’ll be singing along before you know it. ‘Marination, leads to salivation’ ‘Have a bowl, butter rolls, go and heat up the coals’ ‘Refrigeration. Good for preservation’ And so it goes on.
