It seemed a shame to leave Mrs Huxtable out of our Cosby Show fashion series. Not only did she have to put up with Cliff wandering about the place dancing with a fork full of cake, she managed to look disco-amazing while she did it.

Possibly my favourite TV mum of all time, Phylicia Rashad as Clair was sassy and smart and looked the part. She wore more polyester than the whole cast of Toddlers In Tiaras, but she did it with stylish aplomb!

    That pink pantsuit is devine… but I think my fave is the gold off the shoulder numer… looks a little like the dress George Clooneys date wore to the Oscars, No?

    She just carried herself so beautifully. And I like the scene where she and Cliff were having a romantic moment, feeding each other apple on the sofa, and she shoved half the apple into Cliff’s mouth. :)
