How’s YOUR hair-do? Mine’s kind of lame, really. I try to put as much of it atop my head as possible and then pin any tear away bits down with 856 million hair clips. I call it the Pip WIP. It’s a WIP (Work In Progress) because all the day long little bits fall down where they don’t belong and  I have to pin them back up again. Sometimes I do my hair properly. I blow dry it and coax the ends into a bouncy bob and pretend that I’m Agent 99.  But most of the time I can’t be bothered with that blow-dry RSI and I just do the Pip WIP.

I’m glad to say that not everybody is like me.  A lot of people are able to hold their arms above their head for more than 22 seconds, for instance. Some people have the knack of prettily braiding their hair into a breezy do.  Some people can wave or curl or roll or tousle in all the right ways with the best kinds of results.  Some people. Not me.

Today I’m handing JustB over to the lock-y lasses. The adorably tressed ladies. The artisans of the ‘do’. Here’s Ten Completely Great Hair-Do How-Tos!  There is no excuse for the Pip WIP (or your version of it) any more.  Retrain your mane!

These are fab and I’m going to pass them onto my Lady Lovelylocks of a sister :) I wish there were more tutes for ladies with shorter hair though! I can’t do much with my shoulder length hair

Love the waterfall braid, I’m going to try it on my daughter

    *retrain your “mane”!
Aside from being picky (I am awful- so sorry!) can I please say a big fat ginormous THANK YOU because I actually googled ‘cute hair ideas’ on the weekend and it was so hard to sort through the lame-o stuff to find genuine cuteness. So this is excellent timing and I love the ideas. The messy bun is especially wonderful. Thanks Pip!
PS sometimes WIP hair styles are perfectly adorable in a carefree way. Well I tell myself that when I do the same. Embrace it I reckon!

Ooops! Damn you auto correct! Thanks for picking that up!!! If you could see my hair today, you would faint! Geesh! It needs to be auto corrected too!

That’s okay, I just can’t help myself… it must annoy people but oh well. I am a nerd.

Surely not! I imagine it to be all cute and pinned, Amelie style!
