Are you having a baby? Maybe your friend is having a baby? Maybe there’s been chatter about how gross a lot of maternity fashion is? Yes? I get a lot of emails from people asking me where to buy cute maternity frocks. People are very cute in thinking that I know a lot about dresses, and I guess I sort of DO.
Dresses are my uniform. I wear jeans like ONCE a month if that. Skirts hardly ever. It’s all about the FROCK for me. A frock is a good choice, because you look pulled together straight away. No matchy matchy needs to occur. You can just choose tights or leggings. A necklace. A cardigan or scarf and BAM, you look like you thought about what you wore.
This wham-bam look is totally doable for pregnant ladies too. I think that you look ESPECIALLY lovely in a dress when you are up the duff, because EVERYBODY loves a baby, and a baby-carrying-person is the very next best thing.
Here’s my picks for pregnant fashionistas. I think that pregnant ladies should not wear some weirdo Little-House-On-The-Prairie-Tenty-Hidey-Smock. I think they should wear cute stuff that the rest of us want to wear too. Here’s eleven maternity looks that non-pregnant girls will want to buy!
