Aw babies. I had three babies. Yep. They are all grown up now, the youngest being 12. OMG. How the heck did that happen?  Regardless of my own kids’ accelerated growth, there are LOTS of babies about, still.  I see them in the supermarket ‘Look Cam! Look at that cute baby!’ I see them at the market ‘Awww! Cam! Look! Cute!’  I see them in the street ‘Cam! Did you SEE that adorable tiny person?!’  Poor Cam.  He must be getting worried…  Alas, for me , the baby train has pulled into the dilapidated yard where baby trains go when they are a bit washed up in the baby department.  There are no more babies for me.  Sob. Of course, this means that I can now fixate on other people’s babies without the pressure of having to feed, change and somehow get the little mites to sleep.

Lots of people I know have babies. Emma and Angela.  Sara, my sister, has one and is having another one very soon!  Brooke is having one too. They abound, and thank goodness because they are cute and sweet smelling.  Beyonce had one.  Lily Allen had one.  Idon’t know THEM, though.  Maybe someone YOU know has one, too?!  Maybe you have a baby?! Perhaps?

Here are some cute pics for nursery styling.  I am not a huge fan of the traditional nursery, so I’ve tried to divert from the usual white walls, white crib, pastel blankie drill and show you something cuter.

these are beautiful images. I’m having a boy in April, and I’ve found it really difficult to find nice, masculine things for the nursery.

Oh dear! There is WAY too much cuteness going on this post! It’s making me so clucky my ovaries are practically glowing! Quick, someone remind me how much hard work babies are! Tell me about the poo, the puke, the wee and the crying, before my cluckiness gets out of control and scares my poor husband!

Hold on to your ovaries, Angela! OMG! x

Pip, I love these rooms too they’re gorgeous. But to be honest, every time I see rooms like this I really just think “bollocks!”. I have two lovely boys who aren’t event that messy. If they were in this room for 2 minutes it would be a complete mess. Kids don’t live like this. To me these parents speak only of the parents, not the kids!

That was supposed to be “these rooms speak of the parents”11!

Oh you are right! I guess the thing is, that when you have a photo shoot at your house, you DO clean up and style things a bit! Kinda like when guests are coming over, you sort of straighten things up, don’t you? These are VERY neat rooms.. they look a bit unlived in, don’t they?!
