In this age of smart phones, people seem to be wearing watches less and less. But I’m all FOR an old school timepiece. For one, you can’t strap your phone to your wrist unless you are some kind of uber-geek. And secondly, there’s something nice about checking the time without checking Facebook, messages, voicemail et al. It’s sort of the single-tasking way to know what’s what.
I sometimes steal the HUGE Seiko watch I bought my boyfriend about ten years ago. I love how masculine it is, and how clunky it feels on my wrist. I really SHOULD get my own watch, right? I mean, it’s a bit much to expect him to part with both his reading glasses (which I am wearing right now) and his watch. What’s next? His boxers? His flip flops? His wallet? Hmmmm.
Here’s eleven wristy ways to keep time. Which one would you choose?!
