Can you hear the sound of crunching? Yep. That’s right. The Official Season de Salade has been launched, a bottle of vinaigrette cracked over its bow. Bon Voyage!
Of course, an iceberg salad is quite lovely, but how about we trip a little further in our salad quest and investigate some fresh new crunches for our entertaining table.
I’m thinking halloumi, kale, fingerling potatoes and avocado should all feature heavily. I think some nuts would be a good idea too… some cranberries even? And I’m TOTALLY thinking a sprinkling of sea salt would send your salad on its merry way to the Port of Deliciousness! Ahoy!
Here’s eleven new ways to salad at your place. Be sure to apply a good squeeze of olive oil (just like our fave sailor Popeye!)

Crunch. Are you into salads? Or is it all rabbit food to you?
