How’s your Winter trucking along? Mine is chilly but nice, full of comfort food and lots of indoor time. I’m looking forward to busting out when the weather is a bit nicer. I can’t wait for warmer days, to lose that chill that’s hanging in the air. I’m also looking forward to those warm afternoons, icy drinks, sandals and bare legs. And salads. I am really looking forward to those too. How about you?
Don’t get me wrong, I really love comfort food. Soups and stews and slow cooked delights. But I need my comfort interspersed with lots of healthy crunch. I like to mix it up and keep things balanced. Maybe you do too.
There’s nothing like a big bowl of crunchy salad to make you feel good. And if you partner it with a chilled glass of wine and maybe even a spoonful of chilli and a few friends, then I think you’re totally sorted.
