Ohmigosh. I must admit I always feel a jolt of happiness when I see a child carefully steering a little bag of goldfish out of a pet shop. It’s such a sweet and hopeful sight and makes me wonder if the fish will be Swimmy or Goldie or Bit or Bot. (And indeed what the lifespan of said fish will be!) When I spied these rubbish bags I was MOST delighted. You can have that ‘fresh fish feeling’ without any of the angst about water purity or overfeeding or slippery green bowls. Phew. Not only that, every time you take a bag of rubbish out your neighbours will get a giggle. I think that’s grand!
