Postcards from Malaysia

I have literally walked in the door to my home after a lightening, exciting trip away to Kuala Lumpur. The weekend was a like a tasting plate of what this Asian city has to offer and I, for one, would love to go back some time and approach it all at a more leisurely pace.
In fact it’s Malaysia’s leisurely pace that has stuck firmly in my mind. Without exception across the weekend, if something was scheduled for a certain time, it didn’t start for another hour. Now, that’s a way to really slow down and stop the frantic pace we set throughout the year.
And as I was back before any postcards could have possibly made it to Australia, I thought I’d share some of my “postcards” with you here. You know, just so you knew I was thinking about you.

Lilly pad sculptures at the National Monument (Tugu Negara), which was built to recognise and honour those who gave up their lives in the cause for peace and freedom
Are you heading off on a trip soon – near or far? Where are you heading? Do you still send real postcards?
