Are you having pals over this weekend? My favourite thing to do is a totally impromptu pal gathering. I like to message some friends and invite them for dinner that very same day. Then I wander into the kitchen for an hour or so and knock up some big dishes of delicious. I like to roast a chicken or two, make a big pile of couscous and top it with homemade tomato sauce, roast some potatoes with lots of thinly sliced onion and garlic and throw together a cucumber salad to add some crunch and lift the whole spread.
How about you? Do you like to have friends over? Or is it a bit overwhelming? Sometimes it seems like a pressure, when really it can be super easy. I warn my pals that the house won’t be perfect and then we just have fun friends-as-family time, eating from our laps as we natter and sip nice drinks and soak up the casual atmosphere.
Perhaps you’d like to do that too? I’ve poked around on the internet and found some cooking inspiration for you. Here’s eleven things to cook for your friends! Invite some over! Go on!

What would YOU like to cook? Are you having friends over this weekend? Are you friends your family?!
