Be Happy

Soup. Yum. It’s definitely a meal in a dish and SORT of all you need (apart from a piece of bread or toast) to fill you up and make you happy, right?!  I could actually eat soup every single day and be happy, and I think a lot of people feel the same way, because yesterday I even saw a blogger having Minestrone for breakfast. Imagine that. That’s all kind of great, in my opinion.

Soup can be that virtuous, clear concoction of goodness with happy adjustments according to Seasons and taste. Or it can be a much heartier, more robust mix of delicious things and spicy flavours. Yum. I like both kinds with a good squeeze of Sriracha (Chilli) Sauce and lots of freshly ground pepper.

There are other thing you can plonk into soup too. You can add a spoonful of pesto. You can mix up some lemon rind, parsley, sea salt and garlic and spoon that in (it’s called Gremolata!)  You can add a generous dose of Rouille for a dose of sophistication. Or you could try a slice of cheesy toast a la French Onion Soup. YUM!

If that’s got you in a soupy mood, fear not. I’ve done a bit of legwork for you. Here’s eleven other ways to do soup, in case you want to get souped up with me!
