Food: Eleven Homemade Cordials

This is as good idea, right?!  Homemade cordial! Yes!

It’s a good idea for a couple of reasons. Firstly, cordial makes an excellent gift, and I know you are probably thinking about gifts at the moment.  Secondly, cordial is the perfect mixer for those delicious Christmas drinks you are planning at your place.  Thirdly, if you’re not having drinks at your place, everyone will think you are SUPER amazing and Martha-like if you front up at their place/the office/the work picnic with a bottle or two of these fruity elixirs!

How great is that? When I was a kid, my Nannas used to make ginger beer and lemonade and we’d drink them on the beach or sitting on stools, swinging our legs around the breakfast bar at our holiday house.  That’s the stuff memories are made of, right?

Do you want to make memories? Make cordial!

Do you have cute memories like that too?

I don’t have cute memories like that.
BUt my Dad is going to make lemonade with my daughter over the Christmas holiday – how sweet is that!

We make lemon cordial every summer in the (literal) bucketloads then freeze the concentrate to drink throughout the year. I have been thinking of gingerbeer syrup and so happy you posted a recipe. Thanks,
