How’s your weekend going? Has it been pretty nice, so far? Mine has. We took a quick spin to a Farmers’ Market yesterday (about 40 minutes out of Melbourne at Lancefield) and loaded the car up with lots of fruit, veggies, eggs, bread and other delicious treats.  We bought some DELICIOUS hydroponic cherry tomatoes direct from the grower (they taste SO so so good!)  And we snaffled some kale, baby leeks, broad beans and other fresh-out-of-the-ground things.

Nothing beats that kind of market.  Even though they can be more expensive, we save money buy purchasing lots of staples in bulk, and then we spend what we save on super good fruit and veg.  Good plan, no?!

Anyhoo, going to a great market always gets me a bit more excited about food (if that is possible!)  I’m busting to make a couple of the dishes I’ve featured below (the soup with the kale in it! the pumpkin curry!)  I have had them bookmarked for a wee while, and it seemed like a good idea to share them with you too!  I’ve also gathered up some other great recipes, for a nicely rounded out Sunday Supper round-up!

Do you love Farmers’ Markets?  Do you love food and cooking?!

What’s for dinner at your place, this Sunday?

xx Pip
