Are you the breakfast kind? I must say, I am a bit swings and roundabouts in the breakfast department. Sometimes I am totally breakfasty (usually when I have a bit of time on my hands), and other times I am just not into it at all (if I’m totally busy).

When I am feeling breakfasty, I like some of this pesto on thick slices of rye toast.  Or else I like some tortilla (cold) sandwiched into a soft roll with some chilli sauce or tomato relish.  Perhaps I might wander down to the local bakery and buy some slices of pizza, if I am feeling a bit non-cooky.  Or else I go for eggs and soldiers (I like Promite on my soldiers, if you don’t mind!)

When I am not breakfasty, I still like to have something, so I make a cup of tea and a smoothie.  I like this green smoothie. And I like this pink smoothie. Smoothies are ace if you don’t feel like a proper meal and they get you off the hook in the ‘ You Skipped Breakfast’ department too, so that ‘s a win.

Today, I’ve spent the whole morning snacking on pesto toast AND a pink smoothie AND a cup of tea. And I’ve been looking for great breakfast ideas for us to bookmark, in case we are threatening to be breakfast skippers.
