Thing Of The Day : Amazing Nails!

I used to bite my nails. They were not pretty. They were stubby and chewy and not-nice to behold.  Eventually, I worked out that it was not ladylike to fish nail clippings from one’s mouth and even less cute to spit them across the room.  Hm.  I moved on from the chew to various nail polishes, permanent marker, liquid paper and even Clag. Ew.  Obviously I was very immature in the nail department, so I changed. I grew up and my nails grew too.

Now that my new leaf is turned over,  I’ve sorted myself out.  I paint my nails nicely. I adorn them with nail stickers and file their catchy edges. I even do NAIL ART. Yep. I learned how via the internet and you can too.

Today’s Thing Of The Day is Amazing Nails. There are ten billion different nail blogs out there with photo tutorials to teach you how to polka dot or argyle or chevron to your nail’s content.  These lovely nails are via the nail blog Nailside.   How much do you love these rad designs?!  So cute and clever.

    Oh I do like the clouds .. I recently used the geometric design from Kit Cosmetics and used a matte top coat .. looks so good .. but then I wrecked them by having to paint my house .. Boo Hoo! You can check them out at denisehearts.blogspot.com … (I know .. self-promotion is shameless)
