My Day : Snap & Share : Our Creative Project

Hey YOU!  You know, it’s super ace that you are reading JustB. It’s so great to know that you are out there and we are not typing words into nothingness. It’s nice to know that you care, ya know?  It’s nice to have you along.

We have put our heads together over the last few days. We’ve been talking about you. Yep. Not in a back-bitey, nasty way. Nope. Sort of in a ‘these guys are great, we wish we could hang out more often.‘  And a bit in a  ’we’d love to have a cup of tea, peg out some washing, sit on the couch with these guys’ kinda way.  And even in a ‘let’s go shopping together, shall we stop for a mojito and a fancy snack‘ kind of way.

Do you get what I’m saying?  We want to get to know you better!  Here’s what we thought we would do. Let’s do it together :

Today we’re launching ‘My Day’ on JustB.  My Day is a photographic project we can all do together.  All you need to do is snap a photo of something you are up to, somewhere you are at, something that you did… and share it with us!  It’s a cute way to document our REAL LIVES.

Photos can be messy, candid, pretty, styled, un-styled, regular digital camera, smart phoned… whatever!  There are no themes for My Day. And it’s not a daily project (unless you want it to be!) It’s up to you what you snap and share with us.  You can be everyday, real life kinda snappy. Or you can be inspirational, arty kinda snappy. They can be taken by YOU or your partner or your kids. The more the merrier. We just want a peek into your world, to see how things are the same and how they are different, too.  It’ s not a competition. It’s more of a super awesome real-life inspiration junket!

Do you get it?!

1. Let’s  just say you snapped a My Day photo. Maybe you took a photo of your breakfast, or someone in the cafe or your kidlets patting the dog or a dress you  saw in a shop or the sky… or any of the zillion things you see/do in your day.

2. You can share that photo on our Facebook :  Label your image with a description and the words MY DAY or you can share that photo on Twitter : tag it #mydayjustb

Edit : You can now also upload your image straight to Flickr : we can share it to Pinterest from there in an easy peasey way!

You can share daily or less often or not at all. The only rule is no more than one  image per day. OR maybe you just want to LOOK!  That’s okay too!  You don’t have to take photos, you can just come along for the ride!

3. Look at everyone’s photos!  JustB will be peeking at everyone’s pictures and sharing our favourite My Day images on the blog, Twitter and Facebook each week.  PLUS we’ll be sharing them on our BRAND NEW PINTEREST account too : find the My Day board here!  

Be sure to tag your photo #mydayjustb to make it easier for us to share YOUR image with all the other JustBees!  You can also add a link to your photo if you want us to connect with your blog (if you have one.)  BUT this is not just for people with blogs. Nope. This is for PEOPLE. Just people. People like YOU!  Everypeople!
