Creative Cue | need/want and making it yourself

Nothing, I mean nothing gives me more satisfaction than figuring out how to make something that I need. This week I decided that I needed a tripod mount for the iPad so that I could (steadily) record a video. Sure, I could have sourced something online BUT I managed to make it myself from stuff I already had at home. So, my triPad has cost me precisely nothing. Sure it’s a bit rough around the edges but it absolutely does the job. I even got the thumbs up from The Date which is really saying something! I think this is only the second thing I’ve ever made that he’s even been vaguely interested in.
