Creative Cue | A little bit of encouragement goes a long way!
It’s crying out for a cush isn’t it? That’s next on the agenda.
I bought this chair from the op shop for $8.00! Such a bargain really. I think the rope was about $15.00. So, for the princely sum of $23.00 the smallest is well on the way to the neon bedroom of her dreams. We move next week so hopefully in a couple of weeks I’ll be able to share her deliciously 80s fluro abode.
She’s excited beyond words and it has been such a pleasure to make for her. The encouragement she’s been giving me has kept me motivated when I wanted to give up and go to bed.
Our neon checklist so far:
Neon full stop carpet
Neon pencil cups
Neon giant granny square
Neon macrame chair
If you’ve ever considered trying your hand at macrame then something like this is absolutely a really great beginning. It didn’t require too many knots because of the thickness of the rope and I think it’s super effective. So, macrame yourself a chair why don’t you?
Maybe you’ve been cooking or clicking or reading or thinking instead of tying knots… why don’t you pop over to My Creative Space and play along?
