What does your place look like? Is it cleverly decorated, full of personal touches and chic bits and bobs? Mine isn’t. It wants to be, but it’s actually haphazardly decorated, full of laundry and the bits and bobs are called ‘dirty dishes’. Ugh.

Maybe you are much more organised and stylish than I am, and your home is divinely decorated?  I am in awe of you!  Good job!

Or… maybe you are like A LOT of other people, combing interiors magazines and Pinterest for bright ideas to mimic at your place? Excellent, because I am talking to YOU today.

Today I’m picking an interiors trend and I’m going to walk you through a few ways to apply it at your place.  I am going to do this every week or so, because I think it’s really super good to freshen up your home on a regular basis, and I want to provide you with some regular inspiration.

The trend today is PINK.  I love pink. Do you love pink too? No longer just the domain of Barbie, pink is a perfectly great colour to use at your place, if you go for small doses and use it cleverly.  Take a peek and see which room you like the best.

Would you use pink at your place? Or do you already? How far would you go? A cushion or two, or a whole wall, JustBees?  Tell me about PINK at your place.

I love colour and plan on doing my kitchen reno in a 50s style, complete with checkerboard flooring, pink smeg fridge and other pink and pastel accessories. Having two small girls means we have lots of pink in our house and although i wasnt always a fan i love matching it up with other bright colours.
