Perhaps when you think of chalkboards you are transported back to Grade 3 and some feisty child’s dragging their fingernails across ones dusty surface.  Yick. I’m thinking that’s pretty traumatising. I’m thinking you might need some cognitive therapy to snap you out of your blackboard fearing fug. You are in the right place for that.
