Maps. What do you think? I think I love them. I’ve been collecting old maps and atlases for years, using them for decorating, wrapping gifts, making stationery and more. I used to have a shop (in case you didn’t know) and one of the first cute things we ever stocked was stationery made from street directory maps (they were by Little Elves, if you are interested!)  Maps were just the kind of thing I wanted to fill my shop, house, life with!

Perhaps you are a bit keen on the map trend too? Maps can spruce up many corners of your home : a bathroom, the kitchen wall, the dining table, the kids room?  You can choose a map in neutral colours if you are the understated kind, or you can go for the political or resource depicting maps that seem to have all kinds of great bright colours and will really pop off the page… or wall.

Here are just a wee few ways to use maps at your place. Have a dawdle through and see if inspiration strikes, because there are some super clever ideas included.

Do you use maps at your place? Are you a map fan? Are you inspired by these pics? Do you wanna map? AND did you know that you can buy lovely map cushions here?!

Maps help you dream of far away places you can travel to one day…I sit against the wall of a cafe with the whole world, I face Tanzania and think, mmm maybe one day…
