Do you know what? I don’t have a bed head. My bed head is a WALL. An exposed brick wall at that. If you don’t arrange the pillows just so, the spiky bits on the bricks press into you head with ouchy results. Not good.

I thought it was time to rethink my bed head situation. It’s really not acceptable to call spiky bricks your bed head, unless you are a member of the Masochistic Industrial/Hobo School of Interior Design. It’s probably MUCH healthier to choose something pretty or squishy or soft, at the very least, to encourage sweet dreams.

In my search for stylish comfort I’ve tripped about the internet, looking for bright ideas. Here’s what I found. Some of them are soft and squishy, some of them might be stylish, some of them might even be reformed spiky, but all of them are lovely/clever/pretty!

Do YOU have a bed head? Or are you sadly lacking, like me?!

I hate to say this but most of these bedheads look either uncomfortable to lean against or as if the bed would push away from the wall if you did lean against them. As someone who loves to read, knit, blog and watch iTV in bed, being able to lean comfortably back against the bedhead is number 1 priority!

Perhaps a bedhead made from recycled old couch cusions would surfice? Those big square ones? They could even be nailed to a back board then hung on the wall or nailed to the bed frame to keep the bedhead from moving about. My bed head is wooden, and very comfy well drowned in pillows :)

Hi, I just stumbled across your blog when I googled wall frames (thought it might be a good idea for an alternative bed head. I LOVE the first bed head you showed. Where is it from? Off to readyour old posts.
