Creative: Eleven Rad Ways To Wrap Gifts

Ranking very highly on my list of favourite things is a brown paper package tied up with string!  Of course, it doesn’t HAVE to be brown paper and string.  In my opinion, gift wrapping should certainly be thoughtful.  So many of the wrappings and packagings we’ve included in today’s round-up make use of recycled materials, or super cheap materials and just a teeny tiny bit of effort.  Is there anything better than a beautifully wrapped gift?

I get so much joy in carefully preparing a gift for the giving.  I love the idea of the egg carton for my mother in law (who keeps chooks) because she would be able to re-gift the packaging with a half-dozen eggs.  I’ve often wrapped gifts for crafty mates in a fat quarter and tied the package up with a skein on embroidery floss.  That’s like THREE gifts in one.

Do you spend time on wrapping?  OR are you more of the let-me-at-the-good-stuff school?

Where does one buy big roles of the thicker, heavier brown craft paper (as opposed to the paper bag type stuff)? Any ideas? thanks :)
