Here’s a gallery to get excited about! This kind of repurposed “have a crack” craft is 110% up my alley.

The very best kind of making (in my humble opinion) is that which is born out of necessity. I love this notion of needing, or wanting something and then figuring out how to make it yourself. Making for your home infuses a real sense of personality into your things. Often these items have a sense of humour about them too. I really like a homemade something that sparks a smile.

I hope you’ll consider injecting a wee bit of yourself into your home when next you find you need a new headboard, or cushions, or a doormat, or a hanging rack. Is there anything lovelier than that rack?! It LOOKS beautiful, would cost virtually NOTHING and last a whole lot longer that anything you could find on the cheap in a nasty fluro lit shop. Win!
