It’s time for some DIY! The weekend is the very best time to eschew your usual routine and try something new, I think.  I’m quite into the whole bespoke fabric idea, because I think it’s a bit clever to make your own prints and it’s especially cute to make hand printed things to wear or gift.

There are lots of simple ways to create unique fabric at home.  You can make stamps and print your fabric with textile inks.  You can use different natural colourings or stencils or buy ready-made stamps and try printing with those.  And there are more sophisticated techniques too, using printable fabric sheets, gel medium or screen printing (like the pros!)

Today’s DIY roundup is fabric obsessed.  Have a click-through and see if you might like to print a bag, a t-shirt, a tea towel or a frock.  And that’s just for starters!

Do you have a favourite amongst these? What would you MOST like to make?

I had a boring old tote bag sitting in a cupboard – not anymore! Halfway through some foam stamping right now.
I love that horse dress too!
