Creative: Eleven Clever Pinboard Ideas
Pinboards. I mean, really. They must be totally annoyed that Pinterest stole their schtick. Before Pinterest gathered millions of users, we had corkboards, scissors and pages cut from magazines to inspire our creativity. Corners torn from magazines, business cards, cutely stamped envelopes, invitations and more became the carefully curated focal point for our artistic longings.
Now we just put a (virtual) pin on it, file it away and watch it scroll further down the screen (disappearing from sight as we place even MORE pins.) Back then we layered things atop each other, still noticing the little bits of before peeking out from under the most current find. Sigh. Those were the days.
Today, I encourage you to put a pin on it, literally. By all means have your excellent adventures on Pinterest. But don’t forget the super personal, tactile joy that is the real life pinboard. Perhaps you want to get even more tactile and make your own? Here’s eleven great ways to do that!
