Creative: Eleven Books To Make At Home

Notebooks should, in my opinion, be stashed strategically around the home and at work.  There should be one in the handbag, one on your desk and one beside the bed (at the very least).  You never know when a flash of brilliance is going to strike, right?!

I love the idea of making your own notebooks.  I’ve done it a couple of times and found the whole experience most rewarding.  It’s a relatively quick craft and most of these notebooks can be made with things you have at home.  Craft with zero financial outlay?  Yep…that’s my favourite kind of craft.  I do confess however, to having several lovingly handmade or hand covered notebooks that I’ve deemed too beautiful to use.

I can’t think of a more fabulous gift than a completely made with love notebook.  Such an ace thing to stock your present cupboard with!  These little brown cardboard notebooks are just perfect because they can be made in bulk and personalised as they are gifted.

All these projects are very simple and would be a great weekend project to try with kids.
