Creative: A Month of Home

Have you ever joined in our A Month Of project? Do you know what it’s about? A Month Of is a monthly themed creative challenge that readers can work on together. You can play for a day or a week… or intermittently. Or you can be super regular and play every day of the month. We’re up to our FOURTH A Month Of Theme: February will be  A Month Of Home. Previously we’ve played :

If you haven’t played before, here’s what you need to know:

Every day has a prompt – a bit like A Photo A Day – and you can interpret the prompt in any way choose. You might take a photo, write a poem or a sentence, do a drawing, refer to someone else’s image, write a song.  And then you can choose to share your version of the prompt in our A Month Of Facebook group or on Instagram (using the #amonthof tag) or Twitter… or on your own blog if you have one.  (Or you can just keep it to yourself. That’s okay too!)

You can join in whenever you like. If you’d like to join the Facebook group, head here and ask to join. If you’d rather play along quietly on your own, do that. And if you want to let us know you’re playing, comment below!

A Month of Home is designed to give us a little peek into your house and how you feel about home. Check the Facebook group for ideas if you are a bit stuck. You can see the different ways people are playing over there. Everyone is welcome, so feel free to sneak a peek on Facebook or Instagram even if you don’t plan to play along. Here’s this month’s prompts.
