I do not know how to blow an egg. I am quite uncoordinated, and I fear that I might inhale and get an eggy mouthful. Yuk.  I like to leave the eggs alone.  Luckily, a lot of people DO know how to get all the insides of an egg outside. People like Martha Stewart, for instance. They’ve got years of egg emptying experience and they are willing to share. Phew.

Eggs are not the only Easter craftiness we can unleash, however. There are plenty of other crafty cutenesses we can make, from bunnies to garlands to goody bags.  You might even want to take things further and make an Easter Tree (like a Christmas tree, but less Fir-y and more eggy!)  Or you might want to make some cute Easter Baskets?  Or perhaps you want to forgo the glue and tape and ink and head to the kitchen for your Easter outpouring (check back on Friday for our very best Easter recipes!)

I think it’s really neat to make things for other people, when there are special holidays like this.  And it’s really great to decorate your house and make a bit of a fuss as the holidays go by. It’s good to mark the occasion, I think. It’s good to get a bit Eastery.  Here are ten cute things to make, with an Easter flavour. Maybe you will make them for yourself? Maybe you will share things around and make them for a friend or someone nice in your family?  Whatever you do, do something. It’ll make you feel super clever, super creative and MUCH more celebratory. Let’s go!

Do you like to make things?  Do you fill your home with eggs or bunnies or baskets?  Do you have an egg hunt? Does the Easter Bunny visit your place?  Do you like holiday crafts?  Do you know how to blow an egg?

I’ve been blowing eggs all week for my 20 month old, suffice to say I’m
Pretty sure my eyes popped out of my ears at one stage.

Oh my gosh, Anna. I have heard that can happen. Yowsers! Make sure you poke them back where they belong!

where do you get those decals – did you print them – they are amazing and look beautiful on the eggs

These are not my own project, the decal eggs. BUT I have printed decals before. I bought the paper on eBay (look for Waterslide Decal Paper) and be sure to choose Laser or Inkjet according to your printer. Good luck!
