Blog World Tour: Sweden
We’re continuing on, touring some of the world’s best blogs for Voices of 2013, taking inspiration from blogs far and wide as well as honouring our own home-grown talent!
Blog: Fine Little Day by Elisabeth Dunker
Origin: Sweden. We love Sweden!
A bit about the blog
Fine Little Day is the blog of designer and artist Elisabeth Dunker. It’s one of the first blogs I started reading and I love it today as much as I did back then. I love those blogs that stay true to themselves as the years whizz by. They still tell their own story and stand firm and true!
Elisabeth is not only a talented blogger, she’s worked on some great projects with IKEA and Urban Outfitters, to name but a couple!
Elisabeth’s also made a great range of homewares, textiles, prints and other fabulous products which are sold around the world and in her own Fine Little Day shop.

Why we love it
It’s a gentle, colourful, inspiring, unpretentious view into a lovely life. When so many blogs seem to look the same, Elisabeth maintains her uniqueness… just by being herself! There’s so many sweet photos saturated with colour and print and endearing illustrations.
I always wonder JUST HOW GOOD the flea markets and second hand shops are in Sweden because FLD’s vintage finds are TO. DIE. FOR! They must be super good! Have you ever been thrift shopping in Sweden?!
When I read this blog, I feel lucky to catch a glimpse of such a gorgeous life. I feel inspired and calmed, excited and delighted!
I think you need to feel like that too. I think you should go and read FLD! (And also take a leaf out of Elisabeth’s book and BE YOUR UNIQUE SELF!)
